How it works
One photograph from you, eight critiques for everyone
1. Register. About a week before the session, I'll email you a link to upload your image. Submissions close Monday, October 19.
2. I choose eight. I'll pick the photographs that will teach the most about composition, so the whole room learns from each one.
3. We look at them together. For each photograph I'll talk through what's working, what's competing for your attention, and what I'd try next, often working on it live so you can see the difference.
You're welcome to come and watch whether or not you send a photograph. Most of what I've learned about composition came from studying other people's work as closely as my own, which is why watching a critique of someone else's photograph is often where the biggest ideas land.
Know someone who would enjoy this? Send them this page so they can join us.

Your host
Hi, I'm Robert.
I'm a photographer and educator in Beacon, New York, the author of three books on photography and printing, and an ambassador for Canson Infinity and BenQ. Through Creative Path Workshops I help photographers move from making technically good pictures to making photographs that say something, and composition is where that work starts.
